Tama no Ayumi 50th Anniversary Exhibition: How Is the Sky of Tama Shared?
1975年に創刊されて以来、『多摩のあゆみ』は多岐にわたるテーマに焦点を当て、多摩地域を拠点とするネットワークを生かし、様々な研究者、教育者、趣味人等、地域住民を幅広く巻き込みながら発行してきました。
本展はこの創刊50周年を記念して、たましんコレクションの美術作品だけでなく、当財団の 歴史資料室が所蔵する図書、地図、チラシ、絵葉書などの資料を用いて、多摩地域の多様で豊かな文化、生活、自然の姿を振り返り、地域への思いを共有しようという試みです。
これらの膨大な数の資料が収集されてきた背景には、『多摩のあゆみ』の発行に伴った、分野や市区町村をまたぐ交流がありました。ひとつの季刊誌を通して、多摩地域に対する思いを、いわば「ひとつの空」のように共有する瞬間がイメージできるとするならば・・・。
本展では、数々のテーマの中でも多摩川と武蔵野をキーワードとして、多摩地域という土地のベースを形づくる要素ととらえました。これを織物の「経糸（たていと）」に例えるならば、地域の歴史は、さしずめ時とともに織り込まれる「緯糸（よこいと）」と言えるでしょう。さらに歴史資料や作品を読み解くことで、様々な地域文化の様相が、まるで色彩を加えるように見えてくるのではないでしょうか。
本展では、たましんコレクションの美術作品とともに歴史資料も展示することで、それぞれの制作背景や主題に着目しつつ多摩地域の過去から現在に至る姿を脳内で追体験し、多摩の空のつながりに思いをはせる展覧会です。

７．入館料 500円、高・大生300円

What an incredible piece — Stanislav Petrov's story is one of those rare historical moments that genuinely makes you pause and reflect. I read the post about the 50th celebration and enjoyed seeing how it honoured a special milestone with appreciation and community spirit. It reminded me of a school anniversary event where everyone shared memories and celebrated achievements together. Around that time, I used CMI resubmission support when I was trying to improve my work after receiving feedback on an assignment. It made me realise that growth often comes from learning, reflecting, and trying again with a positive attitude.
